Claim Analytics is a leading provider of predictive modeling solutions to the life insurance industry. The company was founded in 2001 with the objective of providing predictive modeling solutions to the life and health insurance industry.
Claim Analytics is in a unique position of having experienced actuaries and other insurance professional with expert knowledge of predictive modeling; this places us in an ideal position of being able to provide innovative predictive modeling solutions across the insurance industry. We started by specializing in disability claim scoring, although we have provided a wide range of solutions for insurance companies using predictive modeling. Over the years we’ve created models to help insurers quantify likelihood of return to work, detect healthcare fraud, underwrite life insurance, determine reserves, and approve claims. We also provide reporting and training so that clients can maximize the benefits from using the output of the predictive models we build.

Barry Senensky FSA, FCIA, MAAA
Barry Senensky brings over thirty years of actuarial consulting and senior management to his role at Claim Analytics. He has a keen interest in data-based analysis and believes strongly in the potential that modern predictive analytics offers to the life insurance world.
Kevin Pledge FSA, FIA
Kevin Pledge joined Claim Analytics in 2015 as CEO. Kevin is also CEO of Acceptiv, a partner company to Claim Analytics. Kevin successfully managed a consulting company specializing in data warehousing and before that he held senior positions in insurance companies.
Caroline John-Habib FSA, FCIA
Caroline is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. Caroline has over 15 years of experience working as an actuary. Prior to joining Claim Analytics in 2008, Caroline worked at a large reinsurance company.
Aldo Cuscianna FSA, FCIA, CFA
Aldo has held a variety of actuarial and finance-related roles, focused on insurance, and also spanning pensions, banking, and investments. Aldo graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
Irina Volfson M.Sc.
Irina Volfson has 15 years of statistics and modeling experience in the insurance, retail and finance industries. She has an exceptional ability to interpret analytical results and understand their business implications, supported by strengths in communicating complex data analysis to both technical and non-technical people. Irina earned her Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the State University of Latvia.
